Teenpreneur Gabby Goodwin Expands Business Empire

Updated: Jan 8, 2021

BLACK ENTERPRISE recently announced that Gabby Goodwin was starting a once in a lifetime venture which included her patented hair bows and hair care brand. In 2018, she was crowned BE Teenpreneur of the year.

To add the icing on the cake, parents to the 14-year old comedian Mike Goodwin and wife Rozalynn helped Gabby expand her business empire. They purchased new headquarters, which means increasing her operations.

On her Instagram post, Gabby thanked her fans for using her plant-based product.

“ I am so grateful for the support I have received from my parents. Through them, I have managed to create generational wealth. I will continue inspiring young girls to follow their dreams and their goals,” said Gabby Goodwin in a press statement.

The self-made CEO will use her new company to grow her plant-based products and accessories in addition to providing customers with entrepreneurship workshops.

Promoting hair products at home

Going for tradeshows is what has made the business successful. However, at the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic in the United States, the venture faced many setbacks because of canceled events.

Gabby discovered a new trick to promote her business. With most hair salons closed, she realized people made their hair from the comfort of their homes. This gave birth to the “Home Hair Care Bundle” intending to support hair care at home.
