Courtesy of President Barack Obama and the flamboyant First Lady Michelle Obama, you’ll have a string of exciting content on Netflix.

Through their production company “Higher Ground Productions,” the duo signed a groundbreaking one-year deal in 2018.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, President Obama said, “We created Higher Ground to harness the power of storytelling.”

He also noted that the projects would touch on civil rights, democracy, class, race, and much more. The productions won’t only entertain viewers, but they will also inspire, connect, and educate everyone.

From Michelle Obama’s Becoming to the Oscar-nominated documentary American Factor, the Obama’s have brought many shows on Netflix since signing the mega-deal.
