A proclamation was issued by President George W. Bush on June 6, 2006, recognizing June as Caribbean American Heritage Month. CAHM is a month long celebration presented by the Columbus Caribbean Festival to celebrate the heritage and culture of the Caribbean islands in Central Ohio. During the month of June our organization will host special events highlighting Caribbean culture, which takes place outside of our annual festival.
