Coming Soon in June: Must-See Netflix TV

Updated: May 30, 2020

Certainly, there have been times where the quarantine has gotten the best of us. Going forward, as the temp’s begin to rise and outside seems more appealing, it would still be wise to remain in lockdown until the curve is entirely flattened. Then again, it is a free country so do as you please!

If you are choosing to stay in and need some suggestions on a couple new shows to binge, look no further!

Escapism and Netflix go hand in hand so when June rolls around, make sure you know what you want to take a look at. One program that will be very interesting is Juwanna Man, a movie that follows the romantic happenings between a former NBA player and his WNBA experience.

The Help looks very interesting and could potentially spark a creative catalyst upon watching. It covers the circumstances a bold young writer faces as she tries to challenge the parameters set in place. Features Emma Stone and Viola Davis in a sixties era cinematic film.

For those who loved Money Heist, you’re going to want to tune in to Last Days of American Crime. This show is a downright heist thriller and checks every box for a crime thriller.

First, you had Pokemon Go now Pokemon will make its way onto Netflix. Pokemon is one of those shows that just brings instant nostalgia and would be great for background entertainment. For those that are fans of Pokemon, The Last Airbender is already on Netflix and looks pretty sweet.

Finally, everyone should give Eric Andre’s new stand up, “Legalize Everything” a look when June rolls around. Very dry humor but downright hilarious and a great on-stage presence radiates from this witty and obscene individual.

All in all, methods of entertainment are running scarce right now and these shows are sure to cure some of that June corona boredom.
