The Hobbies that Kept Celebs Busy During Quarantine

Updated: Jan 19, 2021

So here we are in 2021, or is it 2020 – WON? And although we may have all had somewhat of a holiday break and got to spend time with loved ones – the fact of the matter is COVID is still going strong. It is definitely the unwanted “gift” that just keeps on giving.

Now let us get to the serious question - did you find a new hobby while in lockdown? Did you discover you are actually a master baker or an incredible artist?

COVID does not discriminate and even our beloved celebrities have had to deal with lockdowns the world over.

So how have they kept themselves busy?

Let us take a look at some of your favorite celebrities and the interesting hobbies they found to pass the hours while locked indoors.

DOLLHOUSE DAYS

We all know January Jones as the bombshell from hit show Mad Men. She too was locked down and found a way to release the crazy by acting out scenes with her Barbie dolls - in her shoe closet, yes you read that right, in her SHOE CLOSET.

If you have not already had the pleasure, pop over and follow her on Instagram and just take it all in.

SETH ROGEN - OR IS IT SETH POTTER?

Seth Rogen has dabbled in pottery for quite some time now, you can see more about that here.

However, the quarantine period has allowed him to really hone in on his skills and really improve his technique. (and he will definitely add in some of his crazy humor at the same time.)

Pottery really is a great way to release stress and tap into ones creativity for sure. Thanks Seth for sharing your amazing talents with us.

JENGA-B

I am almost certain that when we say Cardi B the last thing you would associate with one of the world’s most prominent rappers is JENGA. But watching her run head on into a giant JENGA blocks tower is something to behold … you will want to watch it over and over again - just like I did!

Thank you Cardi for never disappointing when it comes to entertainment.

FLORENCE OF THE KITCHEN

Florence Pugh is an amazing British actress well known for her role in the remake of Little Women, but did you know that she is also a winner in the kitchen too?

Quarantine really brought out her culinary skills and she even set a challenge that if 2500 people registered to vote via a link in her Instagram bio she would then make ice-cream live on Instagram Stories.

Well it happened - and so did the ice cream. She enlisted American Ice-Cream maker, Jeni Britton Bauer from Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream to help her create a creamy dessert - much to the delight of her fans.

Thank you Florence for sharing your cooking skills with us.

TIK TOK AS A FAMILY

Mark Wahlberg, as we know, has some skills in the musical department as well as the acting niche, but how are his Tik Tok moves?

Regardless of whether he was on point all the time, the fact remains that he is a family man through and through and enjoyed spending time with his family re-enacting some of the more famous Tik Tok moments of 2020.

Thank you Wahlberg family for the wholesome goodness.

THAT'S THE END

I think one thing we have all come to realize during this pandemic is that we are all human - including celebrities. We have all had to deal with things in our own way and we thank these wonderful men and women for continuing to keep us entertained.
